MIZPAH ORGANIZATION provide a conducive atmosphere for vulnerable children through many of our projects - Including Child Healthcare System. We use a nurturing approach to child healthcare, partnering with community health workers, to improve healthcare system of vulnerable children.

Every year thousands of vulnerable children die from illnesses and diseases which could have been avoided or treated.
CHALLENGES
In Sierra Leone most children do not benefit from health coverage. Thus, they do not have access to healthcare, due to some limitations, competition or political reasons. Some families must save up for years in order to be able to take their sick children see a doctor or a specialist. Practice like this puts the child in a situation of high risk of survival.
In Sierra Leone, children have mild to moderate chronic problems such as tetanus, fevers, measles and diarrhea, ear infections, respiratory allergies, asthma, and skin allergies, and speech defects. These conditions may place significant limitations on their ability to function effectively in school and at home.
